RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a non contact technology used to "read" electronic checkpoints. Each industrial grade checkpoint contains a unique ID Code. The checkpoint can be encapsulated in stone, concrete, wood, glass, and even flush mounted in metal, minimising vandalism, theft or damage. The Reader will scan the transponder through the material and store the ID code, time and date for future analysis using Trovan Watchman software. Trovan checkpoints are powered by the reader, and contain no battery, maximising product life and minimising down time and costly repair. All checkpoints carry a lifetime warranty, readers 24 months (subject to mechanical failure). Ready to use in 30 minutes or less complete systems (including pre configured PC) and leasing options are also available.

Package Overview

Trovan are the only company who can boast a ready to use total solution in less than 30 minutes of opening the package. The Trovan Watchman package contains a Packard bell PC complete with Watchman software pre configured with your sites parameters. The readers are supplied with charged NiCad batteries, leaving only the checkpoints to be installed by you. Readers carry a 2 year warranty, checkpoints a lifetime warranty, and the PC system a 1 year on site warranty. Leasing options are also available.

The Trovan industrial readers are RFID (non contact) readers operating from a standard user changeable 9v battery. Each reader can store over 6000 checkpoints in the internal memory if needed.
